LINCOLN — Nebraska’s efforts to combat human trafficking now rank firmly above the national average, seven years after the state earned a failing grade.

Shared Hope International gave Nebraska a score of 86 out of 100 on Wednesday in its 2017 report card of state laws aimed at reducing the sexual exploitation of children.
